Randstad Italia Inhouse Services is currently recruiting a

Microwave Test Engineer

to take a role in designing and verifying Space Systems Tests and Platform Test Engineer, for an aerospace client based in Rome.

Responsabilit

Tasks

execution of tests on RF and Microwaves subsystems and systems

analysis, modeling and simulation of Payload test benches functions and performances

definition of validation, methods and accuracy of tests

development of AIT Test Software and Procedures

use and tuning of main AIT software tools (ECHO, E-SCS2, LMO, James, and so on)

supervision of test campaigns and analysis of results

test report and trend analysis

supervision of test campaigns and analysis of results

Functie-eisen
Knowledge

knowledge and experience in the use of measurement instrumentations (Oscilloscope, Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, …..)

knowledge/Experience on RF tests including EMC Test campaign

knowledge of ESA technical standard

ECSS-E-ST-50-05C(RF and modulation)

ECSS-E-ST-50-02C (Ranging and Doppler)

technical experience about write/understanding of the Payload Test Requirements of a Satellite

technical experience about technical procurement on Payload units

technical experiences about test execution at Payload level or alternatively on Spacecraft level

technical experience on Payload EGSE elements and development on Payload simulator

Requirements

University Degree in Telecommunication and Electronic Engineer or Computer Engineer
good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
availability to work in double or triple shifts
availability to work during bank holidays seasons / on weekends
availability to work abroad for long periods
