Reporting to: Head of Trade Finance
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Trade finance
– Ensure daily communication with the banks regarding ongoing business
– Monitor and reconcile bank positions and collateral valuation and ensure correct monitoring of the ongoing transactions for assigned banks and serve as deputy for peer banks
– Identify and suggest allocation financing deals for assigned banks
– Manage efficient communication and optimize cooperation with Operations departments, Logistics and Trading to anticipate and optimize treasury and placement of deals with banks
– Contribute to efficient flow of documents (inbound / outbound)
– Account financing operations in the system
Banking relationships
– Manage day-to-day communications and coordinate with peers
– Participate in meetings
– Contribute to the management of credit limits and annual reviews
– Follow up accuracy of banking costs
Internal Reporting
– Ensure the state reporting and utilization of credit lines for assigned banks
– Report on financing inventories and other assets
– Ensure the accuracy of collateral and current liquidity and cash flow forecast
Liquidity Management / Payments
– Participate to Cash reconciliation amongst pool of banks and cash management, in cooperation with internal treasury department
– Support the bank with the necessary documents and information for smooth payments processing
– Coordinate with team members about payments priority related to Goods and Services (freight, storage …) and allocation of cash across banks and sub-accounts
REQUIREMENTS
– 3 yrs+ experience in collateral management & transactional monitoring with banks and/or trading companies
– Advance knowledge of office package with strong Excel skills
– Detail driven and organized
– Excellent knowledge of English (and any other language is a plus), French is a plus.
– Team Spirit ad excellent communication skills.
